Beijing Zhuimeng Technology Co., Ltd. (“AmorLink,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and personal information security. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, transfer, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the AmorLink mobile application, websites, pages, and related services. Please read and understand this Privacy Policy before you register, log in, or use our services.
Key Points
- AmorLink is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, please do not register for or use the App.
- Video processing and similar features are designed to run primarily on your device. Unless you choose to publish, upload, share, back up to the cloud, submit content to customer support, or unless otherwise required by law, we do not upload the original video, image, or audio content that you select for local processing to our servers, and we do not provide such unpublished content to third parties for training purposes.
- We process personal information only as necessary to provide specific features, protect security, perform our agreements, comply with legal obligations, or with your authorization. For system permissions such as camera, photo library, microphone, and notifications, we request access only when you use the relevant features, and you can manage those permissions in your device settings.
1. Scope of Application
This Privacy Policy applies when you use AmorLink products and services through the AmorLink App, official websites, H5 pages, or other channels we provide. Third-party websites, applications, or services are operated independently by the relevant third parties, and their privacy policies or rules apply to their own processing of personal information.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, your permission settings, your device system, and SDK or service configurations, we may collect or process the following categories of information:
- Account Information: phone number, email address, username, avatar, nickname, account ID, login credentials, authentication status, and similar information used for account creation, login verification, account security, and service notices.
- Identity or Verification Information, where applicable: when required by law, account security, dispute handling, or specific features, we may collect necessary identity verification information after explaining the purpose, scope, and processing method.
- Content Information: text, images, audio, videos, comments, interaction records, covers, tags, work descriptions, and other content that you choose to upload, publish, share, save, or submit. If you only use video recognition or similar features locally and do not publish, upload, share, back up, or submit the relevant content to us, we do not collect the original media content used only in that local processing.
- Local Video Processing Information: when you use video processing features, the App may process video motion, rhythm, matching results, inference results, or other temporary feature data on your device. Such processing is used to generate or optimize the effect you request and is not intended to identify your real-world identity. It is usually retained in local temporary cache or cleaned by the system. If you choose to save, publish, or share the generated result, the relevant content will be processed as Content Information.
- Device, Network, and Log Information: device model, operating system version, App version, language, time zone, device identifiers, IP address, network type, carrier information, notification status, crash logs, running logs, performance logs, and similar information used for service operation, security, risk control, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and notification delivery. The information that may be collected varies by platform and is subject to device permissions and SDK configurations.
- Usage Data: browsing, clicking, searching, following, favorites, likes, comments, sharing, publishing, friend interactions, feature usage, session status, push-notification opening records, and similar activity records used to provide services, maintain security, optimize user experience, and handle disputes.
- Transaction and Payment Information, where applicable: order numbers, product information, payment status, transaction time, refund status, subscription status, and similar information necessary for purchases, memberships, virtual benefits, or other paid services. Sensitive payment account or card information is generally processed by Apple, app marketplace operators, payment institutions, or other payment service providers. We do not store full bank card numbers or full payment credentials.
- Customer Support and Feedback Information: contact details, issue descriptions, screenshots, screen recordings, device information, log files, and communications related to your feedback, complaints, appeals, or other requests.
3. Device Permissions
We request necessary permissions only when you use the relevant features. You may refuse or turn off permissions in your device settings, but some features may become unavailable or limited.
- Camera: used to take photos or videos, video calls, or use video recognition features that require a real-time camera view.
- Photo Library / Photos: used to select, save, edit, publish, or share images, videos, and generated results.
- Microphone: used for audio message recording, audio call, or audio-rhythm-related features.
- Notifications: used to send device connection status, likes, new followers, new comments, system announcements, security alerts, or other messages you subscribe to.
- Network: used for account login, content loading, publishing and sharing, push notifications, version updates, troubleshooting, and service security.
- Location, Bluetooth, app-list, or similar permissions or information, where applicable: used only where relevant extended features, platforms, or SDK configurations require them. We will provide notices, authorization flows, and disclosures according to the actual feature and applicable law.
4. How We Use Your Information
We process your information for the following purposes:
- Providing products and services: registration and login, content display, publishing and sharing, friend interactions, video recognition, push notifications, and customer support.
- Account management and security: identity verification, account recovery, abnormal login detection, fraud and abuse prevention, risk control, dispute resolution, and platform security.
- AI and video feature processing: matching, synchronization, preview, or similar processing of media content you provide, either locally on your device or in scenarios you actively choose, in order to achieve the effect you request.
- Service optimization and troubleshooting: analyzing feature usage, crash logs, performance metrics, and user feedback to improve stability, compatibility, loading speed, and user experience.
- Notices and communications: sending information related to your account, security, transactions, interactions, service changes, important announcements, or subscriptions.
- Legal compliance: meeting obligations under applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
5. AI and Video Processing Features
- Local processing first: video recognition and similar features are designed to perform inference or processing primarily on your device. Video frames, images, audio, and temporary inference results used during the process are mainly used to generate the effect you request in real time.
- Original media is not uploaded by default: unless you actively publish, upload, share, back up to the cloud, submit customer support feedback, or unless otherwise required by law, we do not upload the original video, image, or audio content that you input for local video synchronization or similar local features to our servers or provide it to third parties.
- Technical metrics from third-party SDKs: to implement or optimize AI, machine-learning, video, or visual processing capabilities, third-party SDKs or technical components may process metrics related to SDK usage, installation, sessions, inference counts, hardware-level performance, App ID, general characteristics of processed media, host system and version, crash logs, or diagnostic logs. These metrics are generally not the same as uploading your original videos or images, but they may constitute usage data, diagnostics, performance data, or other technical data for privacy disclosure purposes.
- Your choice: if you do not wish to use the relevant AI or video processing features, you can choose not to select media for those features or stop using them. If permissions have been enabled, you can also turn off camera, photo library, microphone, or other permissions in your device settings.
6. Third-Party SDKs and Partners
To implement specific features, ensure stable App operation, and improve service experience, we may integrate third-party SDKs, open-source components, operating-system capabilities, or partner services. Third-party SDKs may directly collect or process certain information through embedded code, plug-ins, or similar methods, and their processing may be governed by their own privacy policies. For underlying components related to visual processing, audio-video processing, and local machine-learning capabilities, this public page discloses information by functional category to protect trade secrets, solution design, and technology security. We do not publicly disclose specific model names, model files, algorithmic details, supply-chain combinations, underlying component names, or SDK version numbers. We maintain a complete internal compliance list and will provide necessary explanations when required by app marketplace reviews, regulators, or applicable laws.
